Outbound Mobility

Thanks to international agreements and cooperation networks, polytechnic students can apply for student mobility at a foreign university. Student mobility in higher education is understood as the participation of a student in an educational program in a foreign higher education institution.

Benefits of an academic mobility:

  • Improvement of language skills
  • Expand your academic and personal horizons
  • Learning from different cultures and societies
  • To develop an improved ability to adapt to new and complex situations
  • Access to a wider range of learning and study opportunities in the desired field

Here you can find a link with access to the information on the Academic Exchange Program. Here you will find 3 folders with the requirements and the steps to follow before, during and after the mobility. Please check all the documents and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to sent an email to rrii@espol.edu.ec

Mobility experience

"My exchange in Valparaíso was the most enriching experience of my life. I did an academic mobility at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso in Chile, which allowed me to establish good friendships from all over the world, in addition to my same specialty (Oceanography).

I really liked getting to know the reality of Chile and contrast it with that of Ecuador. I got to know the Chilean culture ... I also got to know a little about other cultures from different parts of the world thanks to the friendships made with other exchange guys from countries in America, Europe and Asia.

At the beginning of the semester, I did not think that I would have so much satisfaction from having lived the cultural and student exchange in this brother country ... I grew up as a person and acquired a lot of knowledge applicable in my professional life. This experience has been satisfactory in its entirety, without a doubt I would return to Valparaíso ... I would return to Chile. "
